I planted about 10 milkweed plants last year. 4 plants in one raised bed, about 6 in the other. Recently, the caterpillars decimated about 4 plants in one bed and I had to move at least 15 caterpillars (from instar 1-5) to the other bed. I have more plants ordered from a nursery, should be here tomorrow but not sure if plants are established enough to sustain these cat's. What the heck am I going to do if I run out of milkweed, let them starve? Dang!
