12:30pm Was checking on some roadside zizotes milkweed when a monarch floated in, very interested in the blooming plants. Down a little way, also saw 2 queens, checking out the zizotes.
Both types of butterflies helped me SPOT/ LOCATE some plants hiding amongst the roadside grasses. Very green for a “normal” Aug/Sept here in central Texas.
