Lots of activity at my feeder and surrounding flowers now. They especially love the cardinal flowers and salvia.
Activity has amped up over the last 3 weeks. I would guess one hits the feeder every 5 to 10 minutes. They have also been resting on a nearby garden decoration (in picture-they do that every year!). Lots of fighting as they fly in (2 in photo, so there is some co-existence). They also fly in and out of my nearby mature white birch tree. I believe the 1st hummingbird I sighted this year was the 2nd week of May. Now that I've found this site I will report 1st visitor of 2022
