Mid-afternoon I was driving east on Rt 28N from Newcomb, NY, toward Minerva,NY. This report concerns three of several sightings of Monarchs. I saw three adult Monarchs flying in the 28N corridor within minutes; the first Monarch was about one mile east of RT 28 N crossing of the Boreas River. The second was about one and a half miles east of the Boreas Rive; the third was two miles east of the Boreas River; and the fourth was in the village of Minerva, NY. I drove very slowly to avoid injuring or killing a Monarch as these were my 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th sighting in the Newcomb area within a half hour. Please indicate if these reports need to be submitted separately or as a group.
