Saw 2 monarchs today in Waukegan Illinois. Yesterday I didn’t see any and usually we have a lot of activity but I know they’re on their way! Today I planted all of my milkweeds that I had in pots I was using to switch out in the butterfly cages. They are now in a new location in my yard I prepared as a butterfly sanctuary. I’m excited for next year as it will be more vibrant and full of milkweeds and plants that butterflies love!
