ONLY FEMALES - adults. Males have moved on, last male was on Aug 28th around 730am. Females start feeding around 640am now and are still feeding at 730pm on my 3 feeders, they also nectar on 3 hanging Fuschias but squabble over the feeders with chirps and vocalizations and flying antics. Bees and Bald-face Hornet compete with them at the feeders. I'm going thru sugar water like I've not done before in 20 years of having feeders out for them, having to fill them about every 3rd day. No critters drinking either.
