Later in the evening 4 ruby throated hummers, adult male, 2 females and a juvenile, were staring each other down for a couple minutes. Surprised they tolerated each other that long. They were in a lilac tree and nearby feeder. The juvenile made a move for another feeder and the truce was over. Of course the battle was on!
