23°c & sunny. NE wind @19kmh gusts to 28kmh. Forecast overnight low 11°c.
Shuttle stop area started out at 6:15 with about 2 dz individually roosted. At 7:45 there were about 40 roosting individually or in 2's or 3's.
Interior Tip area about 50 individually flitting about or roosting..again in 2's or 3's.
A mix of pristine males & females.
They settled on Hackberry trees, bare branches, Grapevine & 1 basked on a Sumac next to Goldenrod. Observed 2 nectaring on Goldenrod & 1 on Woodland Sunflowers near base of Tip Tower.
Upon leaving the Park observed about 15 individuals arrive from north & west(shoreline) flitting south & checking out Hackberry trees near front gate.
Observations by binoculars, camera & clicker to count.
