Monarch nectaring from whorled milkweed flowers within a large, long stand of milkweed plants. This portion of the stand is open and perhaps 15m from the Rio Grande embankment. It is 3 of 3 individuals using this site.
Note: data entries for 09012021 are monarchs that experienced a cool night with monsoon rain produced from Pacific hurricane Nora. The morning was cloudy and humid, later with patchy sunshine and high humidity.
