A pair of monarchs visiting whorled milkweed flowering plants, within a moderately large stand, where the individual on the left is nectaring while the individual on the right is depositing an egg on a leaf or stem.

This site is ~20m from the Rio Grande bank and in proximity to a band of coyote willow tall shrubs.
