Hummers are dwindling! Over the past couple of days, the hummers are leaving. Some of the departures could be from their sending of Hurricane Ida. We were fortunate here to receive only moderate rain and wind. This am there are a mixture of adult and juvenile females and 1 juvenile male. He’s being chased away, but he’s been persistent. There is 1 mature female that is quite plump! Will be sorry to see them all depart around the first week in Oct.
