On 9/3/21 at 6:45pm, the 5th instar found and reported late morning/early afternoon (1.25”, ~32mm) was last seen at rest on bottom of same leaf, not feeding and in the same position as several earlier checks when it seemed to be resting. Best length measurement yet taken was 1.5”, ~38mm.

Checked late morning on 9/4/21 and it was gone. Could not spot it on other milkweed plants or shrubs in the 10’x20’ area where the milkweed are growing.
