I was sitting in the house with my fiance and he looked out our back window and said he saw some monarchs. We walked out back and saw a huge group of them flying all around us, I couldn't even tell you how many there were but this form asked so I just said 20 I believe there were much more than that. It was so surreal to stand there as they flew all around us.

The butterflies have been here for about a week and a half! We first started seeing them on 08/30 around 5pm. They’ve been here ever since!

The behavior was most flying around our “forest” area (it’s about 30 trees in our backyard) I didn’t see any nectaring but they were flapping their wings as they sat on the trees.
