Saw 3 gorgeous monarchs in my garden around 1:45pm. We have tall dahlias and milkweeds. I saw one rest on our pine tree. I have 10 chrysalis about to hatch in a few days and 5 caterpillars still very small. I’m hoping the weather stays nice as I worry for the small caterpillars. I thought, what if when they hatch I take a trip on Route 66 to catch them up to speed? Is that a thing?
