Local loon family feeding together on Sunday, September 5, 2021 on Pemaquid Pond in Damariscotta, Maine. I’ve been watching them practice there lift offs so it won’t be long before they fly off to the coast for winter. I’m savoring the moments of their presence and calls while they are still here.
