Monarch Waystation #271 reports sighting a hummingbird nectaring on Tithonia in the front yard about 1:30 pm. It was startled when I opened the window curtain to check the weather. It lingered over a few blooms for a few seconds then darted away too fast to clearly see plumage details or to grab a camera to get a shot.
