Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers
Sightings report image

Date: 09/05/2021

Number: 24

Three cuphea bushes keep the Ruby-Throated hummingbirds content. The females and juveniles are commonly feeding on the plants while the males constantly covet the feeders. It's been a flurry of hummers which are literally swarming every source of nectar. We are glad they're finding what they need! We see more adult males, about 3 for every 1 female and/or juvenile.
