Observed a few monarchs flitting about Tip interior & a few individually roosted on bare branches, Hackberry & Hop trees. About 6 flew in high like 50' up from the north along west shoreline or over treetops & fly toward Tip interior trees.
Observed monarchs at shuttle stop establish clusters of 2-3-9 on Virginia creeper vines around 7:45pm. Monarchs continued to arrive until 8:10. Lighting under trees is poor by then.
Looking at photos all appeared pristine. A mix of males & females.
A few nectared on Goldenrod & Woodland Sunflowers.
Coldfront arrives tomorrow late day.
