Sunny & 25°c with moderate SW wind.
In Leamington at the corner of Oak & Sherk streets is an 8+ acre parcel of land. About 1/3 is mowed but the rest is left uncut & has red clover, Queen Anne's lace & other flowers.

The field is covered with monarchs nectaring on the clover.
Could be more or less than 1,000 but for sure hundreds.
All appeared pristine with a mix of males & females.
More continued to arrive from the north.
