Morning report. Around sunrise, at about 60 degrees, one hummingbird was sitting on a feeder that I was just about to replace with a fresh one. I it took a drink and then nectared extensively on red bedding salvia "Vista" and a couple dozen anise hyssop flowers. In the next couple hours, I saw hummingbirds nectaring on Salvia microphylla "Hot Lips," yellow jewelweed (Impatiens pallida) and scarlet runner bean.
