Over the course of my lunch hour in public garden. Strong winds from the south. Most were on Buddleia, but sometimes on NE Aster or Blue Mist flower. Watched 2 leave the area and head west, fighting winds and disappearing. Of the 4 that remained, one was a tattered female missing a part of her wing. I watched as she lay eggs on one of the remaining viable milkweed plants. Did a quick count before leaving and found 7 eggs.
