Chrysalis on my fence board. This is one of several that I have had the pleasure of finding this year! What an amazing thing to see from the tiny caterpillars eating on my milkweed plants, all the way through to chrysalis! I even had the joy of watching one emerge. Timing was incredibly lucky and I'll never forget that moment.
