Asclepias verticillata, whorled milkweed. These plants are at the front edge of an artificial sand prairie. Only 1 plant bloomed this year. There have been no monarch eggs or larva sighted on them this year. The plants are currently in OK condition. However, the site is to dry for this species of milkweed to thrive.
