After not seeing any all spring or summer I finally began seeing them about 2 weeks ago. Last week I had so many they were fighting over the feeders I put out. I counted at least 10. I put out 5 feeders in different locations to help. Occasionally they would get nectar from the Zinnia and Cosmos flowers. I put a new Rose of Sharon out yesterday close to one feeder. I remember past years where the hummers really liked it.
Unfortunately, today I have noticed fewer hummers than a few days ago.
