As our pickup truck stopped at the intersection of Howe Street and Pleasant Street, my husband, Ken, and I saw a monarch butterfly flying toward some trees at 11:30AM today. This the second time we saw a monarch butterfly flying today. I suppose this monarch butterfly was migrating also. Isn't it too late in the season for them to be laying eggs on milkweed?
