After our males left last week, we currently have five female RTs competing for the big feeder on our deck. What has changed radically is the amount of nectaring taking place along with use of the feeder. Virtually every RT spends time before or after nectaring the fucsia plant on the deck. One female has me concerned because she is fluffed out more than the others.
