In the past I have seen many dozens of Monarchs within 2 hours coming from the Northeast, resting and feeding in my butterfly gardens, then heading Southwest, flying up above the treeline and appearing to stay close to the treeline as they headed Southwest. It was magical. Today I have seen 3 so far in my yard, and 2 in another location when I was sitting outside having coffee that I will report separately.
