9 ruby throated hummingbirds busy feeding and defending territory. There are several adult females and there seems to be 2 or 3 juveniles. Today was kind of unusual as 3 ruby throats shared a Korean Lilac for quite some time. Others try to come in under the radar of these 3 by sneaking low behind some Agastache and Roman Red salvias. One tried its best to nectar at unopened honeysuckle blossoms but finally noticed some open blossoms a little higher. Had to give it credit for effort.
