The field across the road from where I live is a sea of golden rod with New England Asters highlighting the golden color. Bees were buzzing and I counted the four monarch butterflies focused on their job, to fuel up.
There are a few trails for accessing this 5 or more acre section of a much larger pollinator field - about 20 acres. I'm sure that there must be more monarchs in the large area that I could not access.
