At 1:30 pm today, a clear-throated ruby-throated juvenile or female was seen out the 2nd story front window under sunny and breezy skies. It was approaching front yard Tithonia flowers to nectar, then apparently caught a glimpse of me in the window above. It hovered in hesitation for a split second, then flew back towards the building's end unit from where it came. Didn't catch any other field marks, movements were too fast, and no camera handy.
