There are no more eggs being laid, there are many caterpillars in various stages still on milkweed here. This is late in the season for my location.
I’ve seen monarchs daily up to & including today. And not ones I have raised & released, because I tag mine through Monarch Watch.
I also have 60+ Chrysalides in various stages, most due to eclose in the next week or so, as well as, a few cats.
I hope this information helps. Also, I stay 4 days a week in Saco (04072) & am home 3 days a week in Lebanon, ME (04027). This is the reason for the 2 addresses.
