Hummingbird “wars” are in full force, with a dozen males and females squabbling over 8 feeders. A few sometimes tolerate a second one sipping at “their” feeder, but invariably a third arrives with tail fanned out and they all vy for ownership again. They also nectar at pentas and black & blue salvia, but seem most interested in stoking up at feeders.
