Monarchs and other butterfly species at butterfly bush and heading SW especially in afternoon, against fairly stiff SW winds. Three nectaring at butterfy bush, and three flying directly Southward or Southwestward. Total number is from looking for only about twenty minutes of entire day, while warmest part of day in mid-afternoon typically sees the most activity. Male pictured, as all identified adults have been males the past few days.
