We saw our last mature male hummingbird of the year on September 4th, which was my birthday. As of September 14th, we still had a couple immature males and females. This is bittersweet for us, as we will miss the hummingbirds, but look forward to juncos, white throated sparrows, and if we get lucky, pine siskins and red breasted nuthatches.
