I am currently raising 19 monarchs outside in enclosures, 17 are either Chrysalides or jay-hanging as of 9/15. Most of the 17 were collected as Nstar 5�s from our Vt meadow. Of the other 2, one was collected as an egg in the meadow and the other was an Nstar3 or 4 when collected from the meadow. I will tag the butterflies for Monarchwatch.org and release them in our meadow which has asters, clover and other wild flowers. Many of them should emerge soon.
