This is actually an Oriole report that has to do with signs of fall.

The last time I heard or saw any orioles in my yard was on the 9th, when one youngster, and his father, both fed at my jelly feeders--front and back yard-- several times throughout the day.

And then they were gone.

Can't wait until next year when I hear that unmistakable and wonderful song of these guys as they return!
