Sightings report image

Date: 09/16/2021

Number: 9

Photo is of Rufous in Red River new Mexico my brother sent while there now. Next week is when our overwintering Rufous appeared Sept 21 2020.

Currently here:
1 Broadtail in Indian shot cana, comes to patio feeder
2 on patio all potted purple Amigo, Amistead, salvias, Mexican orange honeysuckle always fighting.
3 on west side going to Turks cap. Hamelia fighting.
2 going to yellow Sophora on south side with feeder.

1 female don't know species comes to a patio feeder.

I think Rubythroats, Rufous are staying rather late not migrating down yet this fall. And definitely not moving out here yet. Just keep adding incomers.
We shall see next week on 21st Sept. 2021 Is fall salus.
