I have been sighting monarchs for several weeks, two or three a day. Today, I discovered 7 monarch caterpillars on milkweed in my backyard butterfly garden. There was a newly hatched male monarch butterfly on my back porch. I don't know where the chrysalis was. I moved him to a milkweed plant and he was gone within a few hours.
