Monarch Egg Sighted

Date: 07/21/2021

Number: 14

I discovered 14 viable monarch eggs on a bunch milkweed stalks that had just been mown down. I spoke to the person with the lawn mower and he seemed shocked when I mentioned the eggs on the milkweed; he had no idea what milkweed was or how important it is. This report is intended to be a call out to people to continue to spread the word on the importance of milkweed and what it looks like.
(Ps: yes, I took in the eggs and looked after the babies.)
