Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/16/2021

Number: 50

Multiple butterflies seen around our home from early morning (7:00am) until early evening (6:00pm).
Observed sngle butterflies as well as 2 or 3 at a time. They alighted on our Russian Sage and Lavender plants. They hovered around the Spruce trees in our yard. They were seen on our hanging planters of petunias and Mandevilla. None 9f them stayed for more than a minute or two....just passing through. I've never seen so many monarchs in one day (usually 1 or two a day).
