I saw 1 adult in early morning on neighbor's Buddleia and another flying. I saw 2 more crawling out of the vegetation my raingarden, both in late morning, apparently after pupating earlier this morning. The two new butterflies flew up and away by late morning. I watched one fly into the branches of a silver maple, perhaps 25 ft high.
