I saw a Monarch this morning at my home in Arcadia, Phoenix, AZ. It was 10:30am, 91F, no breeze, partially cloudy. It was flitting about stopping very briefly on the milkweed (A. Subulata) and the ageratum. It looks a very ragged female, missing the tip of her left wing and damage to the hind wing. It circled around and around. This is the second day I have seen it but the first where I could get a photo.
