Male nectaring intensely on butterfly bush. I caught from behind and tagged BW039. 5:30 pm. Flew off south immediately afte I let him go.

Mid-September is the probable peak migration time here, and I don’t usually see four monarchs in my yard in the space of 1.5 weeks.
