11:48 a.m, spotted a female Monarch butterfly nectaring on butterfly bush, the first Monarch observed since three days ago. Total of three to five Monarchs observed from 1148 to 1410 nectaring intensely on butterfly bush and yellow/gold colored wildflowers in field. (Observed three at once, two others may have been repeat sightings of the others.)

There are approximately three acres of a dense milkweed patch in a field which is within 100 yards north of the observation locations, as well as abundant common and swamp milkweed in the area in general. Today reached 74°F as the warmest of a five-day warm snap, overnight low was 61°F this morning.
