Today I released my ninth adult monarch raised from eggs or tiny larva from my milkweed patch. I have eight more chrysalides and one small caterpillar. I have not seen any more eggs or caterpillars on my milkweed over the last week. I see four or five adults on my butterfly Bush every day, males and females. Of the nine butterflies I have released over the past two weeks, three were males and six were females. The one I released today was a male. They all fly with vigor.
