Deep south Louisiana here. Many hummers at the feeders and flowers, right now. A large increase immediately after Ida pushed through.

I know that at least 3 of my approximately 10 hummers are adult male Rubythroats. It's difficult to tell the sex of the rest. I think there were a few more adult males right after the storm, but some have dispersed. I suppose other people were able to finally get home and get their feeders back out.

We never left. Feeders came in during the storm, but were put out immediately after.
