Yesterday, I reported that we were down to just two resident juveniles, one male and one female. Today, however, while spotting them all throughout the day, there was at least one more around. It rained all day long; at some times, it was quite heavy. It's the first rain we've had in weeks and is supposed to continue through the night and tomorrow. Then, it will clear off and get cooler. The rain should result in a new batch of insects for our hummingbirds to fill up on protein. We still have all 7 feeders up and some flowers. Our flowers are fading and with today's heavy rain, they took a beating.
