Observed 7 ruby throats from early afternoon and the evening. Pretty sure 2 stopped to fill up with nectar and continued south. They nectared for long time at feeders but did not do any perching. But ended up with 5 (possibly 6) hummers at the end of the evening. So I expect sightings to keep decreasing. Temperature was cool with high in the 60's. Mostly sunny sky. Last hummer to leave the yard was about 7:18. So, the end is in sight here.
