T-Flies have recently been active in the area of the milkweed. Milkweed was at its end and is now gone, stripped and cut down. Ten or so chrysalides are hanging in adjacent shrubbery. Damage by T-Flies is evident in malformed chrysalides. Photo shows one looking good and one clearly infected, adjacent to each other. Nectar plants are in bloom to feed emerging butterflies. Have T-flies which I will swat to kill, and have bees and other varieties of butterflies.
