Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/22/2021

Number: 3

I noticed at 5 p.m. I was seeing Monarchs on the east side of the house. The winds had picked up to 24mph after the passing of a front, and was coming from the north/north east. There were 3 Monarchs nectaring on the mexican sunflower. They fed for about 10 mins., fighting the wind, then all of them used the wind to their advantage and left the property flying in a southwest path. Temp was 64F at the time.
